Flying Monkeys High on the Spectrum Similarities to Bats Quote

Flying Monkeys are kind of like bats, they may even sleep hanging upside down by their feet. (lol) They also seem to get in your hair and you can't get them out. However, the term "flying monkey" comes from The Wizard of Oz, a movie in which the Wicked Witch sent her flying monkeys after Dorothy. Notice it wasn't because Dorothy did anything wrong, but because the Wicked Witch was, well, wicked. Unsurprisingly at this point, the Wicked Witch was still roaming free in Kansas, (to kidnap, steal, etc., (even though they "weren't in Kansas anymore" dream)) as were the flying monkeys, or else Dorothy, Toto and the gang would never have had to endure the ordeal of the little man behind the curtain.
