Internet Down Morning of 8/23: Service Call 8/25 Afternoon
Our Internet connection went down yesterday morning (Wednesday, August 23) after one post, I believe (arc). Neither of us have been online since that time. It has been down ever since and is still down today. There is a service call for a tech to come out tomorrow afternoon. This is likely hacker-stalker related and appears to be issues with the modem, but the service said there is trouble on the line. So, we will be back online tomorrow afternoon.
Update: Firday, August 25, 2017, 2:50 p.m. The technician was just here and said the only problem was that the cable was not plugged in. The cable was plugged in. I tried repeatedly resetting the unit. Also advised not to keep the modem unplugged when not using the Internet because that can affect it - it won't update properly, etc. DC from the roofing working across the street. Bad smell in the air in my apartment again, but again using the ceiling fan - commentary regarding it being meth from perps not tech.
